The Stevenage Schoolboy Scramble Club had round 2 of its club championships at East Tracks, Kings Lynn. The track was in excellent condition due to Patrick (track owner) preparing Saturday evening and Sunday morning, along with a little bit of rain, which kept the dust at bay. This gave some fast and exciting racing all round.
The Auto’s were first away with Harvey Buttriss in the 65cc taking two 1st and a 2nd, closely followed by Toby Avis, having two 2nd and one win. Tommy Clark came in 3rd place, Sam Beebee 4th and Taylor Hampshire 5th.
The 50cc Auto’s saw Fred Flowers take maximum points with three straight wins, Connor Fish had three 2nd places, Jed Horspole took three 3rd, Alfie Ruckwood came in 4th place and Bradley Cook placed 5th.
The Junior class were next out of the gate with Kenny Ryalls taking the first race win, while the hard charging Jordan Eccles took the next two race wins giving him top points. Kenny finished in 2nd place, Hal Whyatt took three 3rd which secured him in the top three.
The Inter 85’s saw a good battle between the top three riders, Jason Moore came out on top with two race wins and a 2nd place. Macauley Madden took the race win in the first race which secured him second overall, tying on points in 3rd place was Ben Halfpenny.
Jake Millward in the Inter 100’s took the first race win but due to injury was unable to complete the day, leaving the field open for Sam Mitchell to take the next two race wins. Robert Wood came in 2nd place, Tom Crittenden took 3rd place after two 2nd’s.
The Expert Plus class saw Kevin Gomm take overall 1st, with Billy Raffle in 2nd having taken the first race win. Daniel Ashmore came home in 3rd place.
Expert Senior’s Keith Gillett once again was unstoppable with another maximum. The consistant Adam Rogers secured three 2nd places, Dave Coulson finished the day with 3rd place.
The Inter 125’s Richard Carter took 1st place, battling races two and three with Lewis Meadows who took 2nd. Craig Smith placed in a comfortable 3rd.
