Round 8 Club Championship

Wild Tracks at Chippenham was the venue for round 8 of the Stevenage Club championship. After a night of much needed heavy rain, the track was left in perfect condition for the whole day. This made the racing fast, furious and exciting for spectators.
First out were the Inter 125’s with Damon Wales taking a clean sweep in every race from start to finish. Rob Nicoll took 2nd with three consistant third place finishes and George Foames secured 2nd place in the last race giving him an overall 3rd.
Kevin Gomm took 1st place in the Expert Plus group with a second and two first’s. Daniel Ashmore took the first race win and two seconds, giving him 2nd place overall and Billy Raffle fought hard and rode well to secure 3rd place.
In the Expert Senior’s Keith Gillett swept the board for another outstanding maximum score. Adam Rogers and Roger Melling battled in every race finishing in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The Day Members class was won by Tyson Wales to equal his brothers maximum score. Scott Pope had three second’s and Tim Soane took 3rd.
Harry Bradley won the Inter 100’s finishing with two first’s and a third. Kieron Snowling rode well to complete the day in 2nd place with a third and two second’s and 3rd overall went to Jordan Edwards who won the last race.
Next off the gate were the Inter 85’s with Adam Day winning the class with a first, second and first place finish. 2nd place went to Tom Pallett also had a race win and Callum Heasman rode well to finish in 3rd.
Visiting rider Tommy Schofield took a maximum in the Junior group followed home in every race by Jake Edey. 3rd place went to Shane Lock.
In the Auto 65cc group Patrick Bebee took another maximum score, while in the 50cc group it was Ryan Allison who took 1st place followed in 2nd by Leo Shaw who took the last race win. In 3rd place was Ethan Sayer who stayed in the top three throughout the day.
